  i was bored to death this sunday, and suddenly i remembered that it could be worse if having to attend the public meeting on a sunday, even worse, not being assigned to the sound department, accomodating, being the mic guy, or reading the wt at the platform... then i realized that i hated just "attending" and sitting at meetings, those "privileges" were the only thing i enjoyed and made my last months inside bearable.... did you enjoy these assignments?

  I used to like being a corridor attendant and actually helping peiple at times. If I got a section my wife had to wake me up for the count. Parking, literature, food, were ok. Cleaning sucked as there was always some professional janitor in charge

  That watching girls was a highlight. slinky long dresses that accentuated the shape. The sheer ones with a backlight were good, as were the arena stairs.

  I foresee problems with the marrying workmates and other non witnesses as it has been made nigh on impossible to meet now.

  The best part was better wifi for surfing and the snacks

  I recognize some of the same people in the pics they use. Our hero was raised witness as shown by his lack of dental care when young. I know, same problem.

  In the USA, why so often is the vote for President just a vote against someone?

  in my lifetime, (i will include kennedy even though i was probably breast-feeding at the time), but it seems that there have been relatively few presidents that we vote "for.

  " my list would be kennedy, reagan, clinton and obama.

  i'm not talking about their politics here but who generally got voted for, instead of simply voting against.. any thoughts?.

  I have heard the president called an office temp. The real power lies with the entrenched party heads and we do not get a chance to vote on them unless they are by chance in our state. Even the primaries are rigged by insiders. I cannot vote against either Pelosi nor McConnell. If none of the above was offered on the ballots it would win.

  The last sexually moral president was probably Carter, Ford. And maybe bushes.

  The last presidents I admire would have to be Eisenhower abd Truman.

  Obama posed as a poor downtrodden black when in fact he was a snot nosed bastard from a hippie chick and philanderer. I had hopes when he did not worship Israel and took a more realistic look at the world. His health care was written by big medicine, big insurance so was set to not serve "us" at all.

  Some of my JW family have printed off their badges but only had black ink so are know colouring them

  Crayons?

  I have the rest of the summer to be ruined every weekend. Add in the daily text for half hour, hour of bloviating on Saturday field service meeting.

  it is a challenge next sunday for them .

  due to starting the convention programme the wt study will be a 30 minute run through ,and deals with this prophecy ... i doubt the younger ones are familiar with it at all bur oldies could debate it at length .we on the look out for the king of the north to enter "the land of decoration" (more to follow,maybe next week).

  this article makes a grand claim in par 2.

  You can see the maneuvering to make sure all monies go to mom. No need to contribute to a local group. This will probably affect COs and their " pay" as well

  Locally (US) the hall needs a roof. When I asked if the owner had insurance I got a blank stare.

  so the jw's are no longer goind d2d but instead are writing letters- my question is what return address are they putting on the letters?

  their own or the kh?

  the kh's in our area have no mailbox and therefore no mail can be delivered or returned to a kh.. thanks in advance!.

  Postage should save the post office budget this year

  Because the elders were lax in getting kingdom ministries out, then ran out when I complained I had to find one online. The jw org didnt have the "special" stuff for download. i spent a long time just looking before joining
